这才叫励志剧，非常cathartic. 主创明显下了大功夫做研究，historical accuracy很高，largely free of made-up melodrama, 台词大量引用了本剧主人公们的原话。对WSPU不那么美好的一面也没有轻描淡写，无论是Christabel Pankhurst的increasing despotism, 把the Pethick-Lawrences赶出运动，还是后期Sylvia Pankhurst与母亲和姐姐决裂。一战的段落尤其精彩，画面变成黑白，Pankhurst母女三人的演说场景与前线和兵工厂的历史影像交错，曾经反对布尔战争的Pankhursts此时被反普鲁士的insania席卷，为战争摇旗呐喊，只有一直参与工人运动的Sylvia仍在坚持和平主义，令人唏嘘。
